AquaWatch selected for Aquaculture Global Innovation Launchpad

AquaWatch has been selected as one of the five pioneering organisations from New Zealand to participate in the Global Innovation Launchpad for New Zealand Aquaculture. This programme, spearheaded by Hatch Innovation Services in collaboration with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), aims to propel the growth and global potential of New Zealand companies in the aquaculture industry.

The Global Innovation Launchpad represents a unique opportunity for New Zealand companies to receive top-quality coaching and networking support, enabling them to scale up and maximise their presence in the global aquaculture market. The selection process was highly competitive, with AquaWatch earning its place among the chosen cohort.

“Thank you NZTE and Hatch Innovation Services for bringing us into this programme,” says Chief Growth Officer at AquaWatch, Abi Croutear-Foy.
“We're looking forward to moving further into the Aquaculture space by providing remote, continuous water quality data, making the invisible clear.”

The selected participants have undergone a rigorous assessment process, jointly conducted by Hatch and NZTE, which considered their potential and contributions to the aquaculture industry.

Over the coming months, the cohort will embark on an intensive market entry programme, receiving mentorship, tailored market training, and comprehensive support from Hatch, NZTE, and a diverse panel of international aquaculture experts. This programme will be delivered online, offering participants a wealth of knowledge and resources to elevate their presence in the global aquaculture arena.
